Foil Stamping in Warminster, PA

Metallic and colored foil that catches the light on cards, invitations, stationery and packaging.

Foil stamping applies a thin layer of metallic or colored foil to paper using heat, pressure and a custom die. The result is a bright, crisp finish that ink alone cannot match: gold, silver, copper and rose gold that really shine, plus matte, pearl, holographic and clear gloss foils. It is a classic way to add polish to business cards, invitations, letterhead, presentation folders, labels and packaging.

Foil can be stamped flat, or combined with embossing or debossing so the foiled area is raised above or pressed into the sheet. For some jobs, especially short runs, digital foil embellishment is worth considering because it does not need a die. Each approach has trade-offs in feel, detail and cost, and we will help you choose the one that fits your piece and quantity.

Foil works best with clean, bold artwork. The foil area should be set up as its own solid vector layer with no gradients or screens, and very fine lines or tiny type can fill in. Not sure your design is foil-ready? Send it over and our prepress team will review it before anything is made.

Where foil stamping works well

Business cards: a foil logo or name on heavy card stock, on its own or paired with an emboss.

Invitations and announcements: wedding, event and holiday pieces with foil names, monograms and borders.

Letterhead and envelopes: a foil logo that gives everyday stationery a premium look.

Presentation folders and covers: a foil logo on the cover of a folder, report or booklet.

Labels and packaging: foil accents on product labels, boxes, sleeves and hang tags that stand out on the shelf.
